The project leverages scholarships and access to the e-learning platform to empower girls with educational opportunities they wouldn't otherwise have, breaking the cycle of limited access to quality education.

Economic Empowerment

By offering vocational training, microloans, and cooperative ventures, the project empowers women with skills and resources to generate income, reducing economic vulnerability.

Community Engagement

Leveraging community workshops and leadership development programs, the project encourages women and girls to actively engage in their community, fostering social inclusion and reducing social vulnerability.

Sustainable Agriculture

Sustainable agriculture initiatives not only promote food security but also offer income-generating opportunities for women in agriculture, addressing both economic and food security vulnerabilities.

Digital Access

The establishment of a resource center and e-learning platform leverages technology to provide women and girls with access to digital resources, improving digital literacy and opening doors to online education.

Health and Sanitation

Improved access to clean water and sanitation facilities enhances health and well-being, reducing health vulnerabilities within the community.

Cultural Empowerment

Through workshops and community engagement, the project challenges cultural norms that restrict opportunities for women and girls, promoting gender equality and reducing cultural vulnerabilities.

Environmental Resilience

By incorporating sustainable practices, the project contributes to environmental resilience, reducing the vulnerability of the community to environmental challenges.

Donation Transparency

HER for Humanity believes in being transparent about how your donations are being used. We cover most of our overhead costs so that nearly 100% of funds donated directly support the mission. Our current project is supporting the operations of a school in Milot, Haiti, one of the poorest places in the world. Your donation will be used to pay for the tuition of each child who attends, provide a hot lunch and snack, school supplies, professional development of staff, maintenance of the educational facility, and licensure. By partnering with us, you can help ensure that every child in Milot has access to a quality education and the resources they need to thrive.
Donor funds support the various phases of the community development approach to saving the school in Milot, Haiti.

Donor Funds Will Help To:

Operate the School: Donor funds will help to provide immediate supplies and pay tuition fees to keep the school from ever closing and ensure that it can continue to provide education to the children in the community.
Develop the Infrastructure: Donor funds will support the partnerships with organizations such as P4H, Food for the Poor, Blue Butterfly, and the World Food Program to improve the school’s infrastructure and programs. This includes facility upgrades, professional development programs, literacy programs, free lunch programs, and hygiene and sanitation improvements.
Empower the Community: Donor funds will help to provide vocational training programs, entrepreneurship programs, and community-led development initiatives that will empower the community to take ownership of their own development and create a sustainable future.
Sustainability: Donor funds will help to establish local businesses, develop sustainable agriculture practices, and invest in renewable energy sources to ensure that the progress made in the previous phases is sustainable and benefits the wider community.

Donor Dollar Impact

$10 a month provides tuition, school supplies, and free lunch to one student for an entire school year.
A $25 donation can help a family buy books needed to support classroom lessons for an entire school year.
$50 supports supplemental food for the school lunch program for 1 classroom for an entire month.
$100 donation can help 4 families buy books needed to support classroom lessons for an entire school year.
A one time donation of $120 provides tuition, school supplies, and free lunch for an entire school year.

A $3,600 donation provides tuition, school supplies, and free lunch with supplemental food to an entire class for the school year.
A $5,000 donation provides tuition, school supplies, and free lunch for nearly 2 classrooms for the school year.
A $10,000 donation supports 3 classrooms with tuition, school supplies, and free lunch for the school year and 40 families the help to buy books needed to support classroom lessons.
